The FAST QUOTE is an automatic price calculator that will give you an immediate estimation of your job based on the information that you submitted and cannot be considered as an official quote from www.rebuildbabel.com We strive to give you the closest possible estimate but cannot give a final quote without reviewing the document.
Languages and languages pairs: We have categorized languages into two categories, the most widely spoken languages worldwide and national languages with minimal international spreading. For example, editing Chinese is definitely less expensive than editing Romanian, and translating from Spanish to English costs less then translating from Japanese to Italian.
Field: Normal and Technical texts. This parameter is based on the number technical terms that a document holds. Technical texts require research and more time is spent on such documents by the linguist.
Word Count/Page Count: Our rates are on a per word basis. If you enter the number of pages the calculator will automatically count 350 words per page, which is the average number of words that a page usually holds. When the number of words is unknown it is always best to go to Submit Project page for an exact quote.
Turnaround time: You can choose the turnaround time by specifying how urgent the work is. Of course, the price per word is going to increase with the urgency.
Linguist Level: It is also up to you to decide the level of experience of the linguist you wish to handle your work. For example, if your document is going to be published make sure to choose an expert linguist. If you are just looking for a simple translation job, cut your costs and help our young linguists gain experience.
You can check the box to receive a summary of your Fast Quote by email. The email you will receive holds all the information that you submitted as well as the total price, a price per word and the turnaround time. It also holds a Fast Quote number.
If you are satisfied with our price and turnaround time you are invited to click on Submit Project to upload your document or attach it to an email and send it to project@rebuildbabel.com To simplify submitting a project you can enter your Fast Quote number on the Submit Project page instead of refilling all the information. All you need to do then is to upload the document and click submit. A project manager will then contact you with an exact quote and turnaroundtime.

The project manager is in charge of overseeing your project from start to finish. When you submit a document the project manager’s task is to review the document and the information you submitted and send you an official quote from www.rebuildbabel.com along with a payment link.
Currently, we accept payments via Paypal and US bank checks. We are working on implementing a system that accepts all major credit cards and we apologize for any inconvenience.
Once the payment is made, the project manager goes through the following tasks:
1. Forwards the project to the linguist of the selected level.
2. Sets a turnaround time with the linguist that is at least 3 hours before the turnaround time agreed with the client.
3. The job is then proofread and if the proofreader determines the job was not done well by the linguist, the project manager will immediately send it to another linguist to make sure that the job delivered to the client meets www.rebuildbabel.com quality standards.
4. Delivers the completed job to the client
We make every effort to deliver top quality translations on or before the requested time. However, and mainly for quality purposes, the job can be delayed. www.rebuildbabel.com reserves the right for up to a 12 hour delay, penalty free. Please understand that we have in mind the quality of the work and we allow ourselves these 12 hours of delay just to make sure that you will be satisfied with the quality of the delivered work. After these 12 hours of penalty free delay, you will immediately benefit from a 50% reduction that will be reimbursed to you. If the job is still not delivered 48 hours after the delivery date, you will benefit from a 100% reimbursement.
